I was born in the North of England. Now I live in the south, where the people are surprisingly nice, the weather is warmer, and there are more museums, but I miss the wide-open spaces and the good quality tap water.
My working life has been spent trying to help businesses that build online technology, including a short stint in the video games industry. These days, by day I help build tech products that involve automation and machine learning. I’m a self-confessed work-in-progress, professing no special knowledge or insight, but curious and fascinated by science, technology, and futurology, which I periodically blog and tweet about.
My books are my creative response to the exponential growth of technological innovation in the era of climate change, with a bit of magic thrown in.
